Strega is closing for a month to take the staff to Italy to inspire and learn about authentic Italian hospitality and cooking! Our group will be spending a good portion of the trip in Calabria, and we are excited to bring our culinary journey back home to share!
Calabria is "the toe" of Italy, Surrounded by the Sea on all sides--The Ionian to the east, the straight of Messina to the South, and the Tyrrhenian to the west. It's known for its crystal clear waters, the cliffs, the mountains, the ancient greek and roman ruins, the castles, the arbereshe and greek influence.
Expect Swordfish, Sardines and other Fruits of the sea, as well as calabrian hot peppers, rustic handmade water based pastas, lots of olive oils, citrus, bergamont, liquorice, eggplant, ndjua (cured chili pork spread), homemade ricotta, and much much more!
Seatings are available between 5 and 9pm by reservation. Follow the RSVP link to make your reservation. Large parties are welcomed and encouraged for this family-style feast. The price is $75/person and wine pairings will be available for $40/person.
